Championship winners Tamara Icardo and Virginia Riera will join forces for the upcoming 2023 World Padel Tour season. Riera and Icardo will start the year as eighth seeds looking to get back to their best form after an up-and-down year. The Argentine and the Spaniard won their first titles in 2021, but neither will be crowned champions in 2022. Both reached the single final but were beaten by Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Trier-Icado at Valencia in her native Brussels Riera. Riera and Icardo, two players who have performed well and have a high work rate, are sure to shine in the games to come.
